EYFE Funding

Working in partnership with East Sussex County Council (ESCC), Vinehall School currently offers the Universal 15 hours Early Years Funding Entitlement (EYFE) for pupils in our Nursery and Kindergarten. You will be eligible to claim the funding in the term after your child’s third birthday.

The entitlement will be automatically applied to your child’s bill upon completion of the relevant County Council Declaration Form. Please note that ESCC require an updated Declaration Form to be completed prior to the start of each subsequent term which will be sent to you for completion by our Pre-Prep administrative team.

The Early Years funding is available between the hours of 12.20 – 3.20 pm term time only (3 hours a day). Our morning session is from 8.20/40 am to 12.45 pm or a full day session which is from 8.20/40 to 3.20 pm.

At the beginning of each term, families are asked to choose how many sessions they wish their child to attend every week. Please note that for children to be eligible for the EYFE funding discount they must be in school between 12.20 – 3.20 pm.
